Charles Roger O’Dell, 67, of Morehead City, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 14, 2016 at Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville with military honors.
Charles honorably served in Vietnam as a United States Marine and medically retired in 1969.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Damron; two daughters, Pauline Murphy and Rachel O’Dell; one son, Jonathan O’ Dell; two nephews, Jerry Jones and David Jones; one niece, Tammy Jones; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Katherine O’Dell; and sister, Carolyn Jones.
A visitation will be held 11:00 am-1:00 pm on Monday prior to the graveside service at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
