Charles Richard ?Jim? Isgan, 73, of Bogue, NC, passed away April, 11, 2010. Born January 15, 1937 in Boswell, PA, son of Charles Isgan and Helen Bodziak Isgan, Gindlesperger.
A 1955 graduate of Jenner Boswell High School. Jim served in the U.S. Army in France and England. He retired from Lee Hospital, Johnstown, PA, where he was the Asst. Maintenance Director. Jim was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and looked forward to Deer season in Pennsylvania each year. He was a member of St. Mildred?s Catholic Church in Swansboro, NC, 653 Old Hammock Rd., Swansboro, NC.
A funeral mass will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 17, 2010 at St. Mildred?s Catholic Church on Old Hammock Rd, Swansboro, NC with Reverand Donald Baribeau M.S. Celebrant.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen and the following children: Sean Isgan and wife Annette of Somerset, PA, Chris Anne (Isgan) Richardson of Guston, KY; James (Jay) Isgan of Nobelsville, IN; Mark Payne and Gavin Payne of Essex, England; grandchildren, Robert, Wesley and Erin Brendle, Patrick, Claire and Juliann Isgan, Stacey, Sam, and Scott Payne, and Joe and George Payne; great grandchildrendaughter, Grace and Henry; sisters, Carol Fruit and husband Jack of Pequannock, NJ and Sally Ferrara of Neptune, NJ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Josephine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mildred?s Building Fund, 616 East Sabiston Dr., Swansboro, NC, 28584.
