Ceshia Davey

Ceshia Davey’s life didn’t come to an end with her death. Ceshia passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 45 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

She leaves behind her daughter, Autumn Davey, for whom Ceshia has been a shining example of what a mother and friend should be; her husband, Jason Davey; her mother, Susie Lewis and Richard, whose hearts are Ceshia’s heart; her brother, Tyre Lewis, his wife Dara and daughter Paige, who will forever admire her spirit; her niece Aurora Lewis, who saw Ceshia as a role model and has gained strength through Ceshia’s strength; a loving extended family and so many others who have been touched by the bright light of Ceshia’s love and compassion.

On this day, beneath a blue Carolina sky, we celebrate a woman who was always the first to welcome a stranger, to provide strength through her hugs, to share the laughter in her voice, to extend grace to her family, and charity to others. Like a lighthouse beacon, Ceshia’s spirit will forever shine through the fog of our grief and brighten the rest of our days with the memory of her undying love.
