Cecile (Skarren) Ramsey

Cecile Ramsey, 69, of Newport, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Carteret General Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Ramsey was a member of Wildwood Free Will Baptist Church. She was a former ambulance attendant with the Wildwood Rescue Squad and one of the original members of the Ladies Auxillary.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Thomas Ramsey of the home; daughter, Teresa Diane Jones of Morehead City; two step-daughters, Suzy Styron and husband Charles of Morehead City and Tracy Pate and husband Rob of New Bern; one granddaughter, Chelsea Nelson; and four step-grandchildren, Lauren Pate, Matthew Pate, Morgan Styron, and Luke Styron.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Chephus Skarren, mother, Estelle Smith Skarren Willis, and a grandson, Corey Penny.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
