Cecil Edward "Sprookey" Ballou

Cecil Edward “Sprookey” Ballou, 77, of Morehead City, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Carteret Health Care.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Ballou of the home; daughters, Becky Ballou of Newport and Katie Ballou Young and husband Duncan of Falls Church, VA; sister, Beadie Golden of Gales Creek; grandchildren, Mary Grace Young, Georgia Duncan Young, and Cecilia Beck Young; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darious A. Ballou and Katie Guthrie Ballou; siblings, John Darious Ballou, Abron “Tootle” George Ballou, Kathleen “Kat” Oglesby, Eunice “Sister” Brewer and Darious “DA” Ballou.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
