Cathy Kerr

Cathy Kendrick Kerr, 61, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Cathy was a college graduate, fun loving, and fair going. She was a sweet person that loved her cats, the beach and writing poetry. She met her husband at Our Place Saloon on the Circle at Atlantic Beach, and the night the business closed for good she and her husband were the first and last customers of the night. She was the love of her husband’s life, and he knew he was blessed to be married to her and their love grew each and every day they were together.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Kerr, Jr. of the home; daughter, Jessica Kerr and husband Seth Stephens of Austin, TX; brother, Steven Kendrick of Austin, TX; sister-in-law, Victoria Kerr of Brevard; special family friends, Jamie Veltman, Bryan Reukauf, and Becky Hobgood; her faithful furry friends, Wiggles, Trashcan, and Merlin; also several nieces and nephews.
