Catherine Potter
January 21, 1927 — December 23, 2015
Catherine Spain Potter, 88 of Nashville, NC formerly of Newport, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at her home.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Mumford officiating.
Catherine was a loving wife for 61 years, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.
She is survived by her one daughter, Karen Potter Robinson and husband William of Nashville, NC; one son, Omer D. Potter Jr. and wife Patricia of Elm City, NC; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer D. Potter; and parents, Fred and Lona Goodwin Spain.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 2479 Hurt Rd. Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
