Catherine Howard Holleman

Catherine Howard Holleman, 65, of Pine Knoll Shores, NC, formerly of Winston Salem, NC, passed away at her home on December 7, 2023.

Catherine was born on October 15, 1958, in Columbus Ohio, to the late Bennie Howard Jr. and Susan Howard. Later moving to North Carolina, Catherine grew up in the Raleigh area. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Campbell University, she moved to Winston-Salem where she had a successful 20-year career as a paralegal.

In 2020, Catherine started a new chapter in her life, moving to the coast and settling in Carteret County. She had a natural talent for crafting and enjoyed creating beautiful arrangements in her free time. Catherine was also a competitive and incredibly skilled pool player.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her brother, Bennie Howard III (Tammy) of New Bern; brothers-in-law, Steve Holleman and John Holleman, both of Winston Salem; nephew, Dustin Valentic of San Antonio, TX; and niece, Sarah Blocker (Adam) of Lilburn, GA.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Holleman.
