Carrie Ross, 49, of Newport, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Eborn officiating. Interment will follow at North River United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Keen and husband James of Newport; parents, Ben and Judith Day of Beaufort; grandson, Eric Allen Tiedemann, III of Newport; brother, Benjamin Day, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Beaufort; grandmothers, Carrie Gillikin Wade of Sea Level and Julia Fulcher Day of Morehead City; uncles and aunts, Earl Merkley Johnson, II of Newport, Charles Curtis Johnson of Virginia, Carolyn Johnson Moss of Morehead City, David Day of Morehead City and their families; niece, Jaclyn Oglesby and husband Levi; grand niece, Gabriella Oglesby; and special friend and companion, Bill Bradshaw of the home.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Elizabeth Day.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
