Carrie Dot Nelson
August 29, 1928 — April 14, 2017
Carrie Dot Nelson, 88, of Beaufort, entered her heavenly home on the glorious day, Friday, April 14, 2017 at Snug Harbor.
A graveside service for Dot will be held at 2:00 on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Victoria Cemetery in Marshallburg, with longtime family friend Pastor Darryl Chadwick officiating.
Dot was born on August 29, 1928. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and she regularly attended services at Snug Harbor officiated by Rev. Keith Hall. Her deep devotion to family as well as her unconditional love and acceptance for all made an impact on everyone who knew her.
Dot is survived by her daughters; Patty McKeel (Lester), Harriet Willis, Terri Vincent; son, Cliff Nelson; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren
The family will receive visitors at other times at Dot’s residence, 100 Plantation Circle, Beaufort, NC.
Dot is preceded in death by her parents; Jodie Glover and Carrie Glover; husband, Clifton E. Nelson, Sr.; daughter, Judy Ann Nelson.
A visitation for Dot will be held immediately following the graveside service.
