Carolyn Russell

Carolyn Russell, 69, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016.

Carolyn was beautiful inside and out, and loved and cared for anyone she came in contact with. If you were fortunate enough to meet her, you will never forget her. She loved her life, her family, and her friends. She loved Jesus, her church, and praying for anyone and everyone. Affectionately known as "Prissy" (which fit her to a T), G-Ma (by the apple of her eye), and "Jack" (by close family friends), her legacy lives on in each of us. She enriched our lives with unconditional love and kindness.

She is survived by one daughter, Cindy (Billy); one son, Emmett; one grandson, Ashton (Shanna, Aislinn, Celise); four siblings, Mary, Brenda, Susie, and Donna; many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and one grand-dog, Hurley, better known as "Hurlz."

She is also survived by countless special friends, too numerous to list individually, but dear to all of our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett; her parents, and two siblings.

A reception will be held for family visitation at Glad Tidings Church (H2O Building) on Thursday, June 30th from 6-8 p.m.
