Carolyn Romona

Carolyn Modlin Romano, 81, of Beaufort, died Thursday, december 24, 2009, at Snug Harbor.
Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at St. Egbert's Catholic Church with Father Doug Smiley officiating. Interment will follow in Oceanview Cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Paul Romano and wife Anne of Nazareth, PA; brother, James Modlin and wife Beulah and sister, Mary McGraw, all of Beaufort; two grandchildren, Pia Romano and Laura Romano, both of Nazareth, PA and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter P. Romano, her parents, Robert and Ida Modlin, brothers, Archie Modlin, David Modlin, Robert Modlin and Curtis Modlin and three sisters, Beulah Salter, Lillie Belle Fulcher and Edith Mae Modlin.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
