Carolyn Odell Jones

Carolyn Odell Jones, 77, of Morehead City, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at New Life Assembly of God with Rev. Allen Causey officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
Carolyn was a member of New Life Assembly of God and very active in several committees at the church. She was also a member of the Morehead City Womens Club and Carteret County Domestic Violence Program.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Jones Gray of Morehead City; two sons, Gerald A. "Jerry " Jones Jr. and wife Ruth of Morehead City, and David A. Jones and wife Lil of Newport; brother, Charles R. Odell and wife Betty of Morehead City; nephew, Albert "Abby" Jones Jr. of Morehead City; four grandchildren, Dana Jones, Susan Stapleton, Jennifer Hussey, and Jessica Smith. also seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Arnold Jones; and parents, Charles and Katherine Odell.
The family will receive friends 6:00 -8:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home.
