Carolyn Gillikin

Carolyn Gillikin, 80, of Morehead City, died Friday, February 25, 2011 at her residence.
Services will be held 11:00 am Monday at St. Peter's United Methodist Church at 111 Hodges Street in Morehead City with Rev. Paul Stallsworth and Rev. Dorsey Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Ms. Gillikin was born in North River, NC and was a life member of VFW Post 240, Ladies Auxiliary, Beaufort, NC and the American Legion of NC.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan Gillikin of the home; two sons, Dan Gillikin and Robert Gillikin, both of Morehead City, NC; two grandsons, Nathan Daniel Gillikin and Aaron Gillikin; and great-granddaughter, Julie Lamay Gillikin of Morehead City, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lafayette Hunnings and Nettie Styron Hunnings of North River, NC; sister, Marie Daniels of Cedar Island, NC; brothers, John Hunnings of North River, NC and Roland Styron of High Point, NC.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
