Carol Wetzel

Carol K. Wetzel, 82, of Havelock, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Havelock officiated by Teaching Elder: Juli Gicker-Anderson. Interment will follow the service at Forest Oaks Memorial Gardens in Havelock.

Carol is survived by her son, Michael W. Wetzel and wife Mary of Jacksonville; daughters, Robin J. Wetzel of Havelock and Lori W. Arbegast and husband Eddie of Havelock; grandchildren, Robert D. Arbegast and wife Brandi of Newport, Dana J. Monday and husband Mike of Jacksonville, Melissa D. Stewart and husband Anthony of Havelock, Matthew E. Arbegast of Newport, and Kayla J. Musick of Jacksonville; great-grandchildren, Alexis D. Stewart of Havelock, Kendall H. Monday and Camryn M. Monday both of Jacksonville, Connor Arbegast of Newport, Anthony “AJ” D. Stewart, Jr. of Havelock, Michael S. Monday, Jr. of Jacksonville, and Caleb N. Arbegast of Newport; nephews, Roger W. Rickhoff and wife Gail of Germantown, IL, and Joseph W. Rickhoff and wife Shannon of Aviston, IL; great-nieces, Rachel Rickhoff of New Baden, IL, and Christine Rickhoff of Germantown, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Wetzel; parents, Lester Kocher and Lillian Zinschlag; and niece, Jeannine R. Rickhoff.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm on Monday, December 18, 2017, at Munden Funeral Home & Cremations in Havelock.
