Carol Holmes Merritt, 83, of Morehead City, NC died Wednesday July 4, 2012 at Crystal Bluffs.
A private graveside service will be held at Wilcox Cemetery in East Berlin, CT.
She is survived by two daughters Pamela R. Terwilleger and husband Robert of New Bern, NC and Cynthia M. Kirschner and husband Ira of Bluffton, SC: granddaughters Kimberly A. Gilleland and husband Mark of Marietta, GA, Catherine E. McGinnis and husband Joshua of Marietta, GA and Meghan P. Day and husband Kevin of Maryville, TN: great grandchildren Avery Gilleland, Logan Gilleland, and Parker Day.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles G. Merritt (2000) and son Charles W. Merritt (1975).
