Carol (Silling) Mehan

Carol Mehan, 80, of Newport, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Croatan Ridge Nursing Home.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Amariah Garner Cemetery with Rev. Gary Carroll of Newport Baptist Church officiating.
She is survived by three sons, Stephen Mehan of Beaufort, Daniel Mehan and wife Catherine of Richmond, VA, and Mark Mehan and wife Mary Ann of Broad Creek; three grandchildren, Matthew Mehan and David Mehan both of Raleigh, and Elizabeth Mehan of Broad Creek; brother, Henry Silling of Denver, CO, and sister, Jane Foard of Sarasota, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Mehan, and grandsons, Jonathan and Stephen Mehan.
