Carol Ingraldi Hamilton

Carol Ingraldi Hamilton (Nonna), 71, of Newport, passed away peacefully Friday, December 22, 2017 at Duke University Hospital with her family by her side.

Her celebration of life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Harvest Church at 801 Mann Street, Newport, NC, officiated by Pastor Aaron Waters

Carol was born in Bridgeton, NJ on November 18, 1946 to the late Vito & Helen Ingraldi.  Her family was her world. She was an avid reader and cook and she loved to travel. Carol touched the heart of everyone she met. She loved her Life Point Church family and giving was a daily honor for her.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years William C. Hamilton of the home; daughter, Gina Amato Cunningham and husband, Scott, of Newport; son, Anthony Vito Amato of Sarasota, FL; and their father, Amelio J. Amato of Sarasota, FL; sisters, Angel Hastings of Ocean View, NJ, Helen Gagliardi of Ocean City, NJ; brother Vito Ingraldi of Pittsgrove, NJ; granddaughters, Whitney Amber Brown of Wilmington, Julia Marie Brown of Newport; step-sons, Michael Hamilton of Spokane, WA, Jamie Hamilton of Virginia Beach, VA; and granddaughter Christiana Hamilton of Merritt Island, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vito & Helen Ingraldi and her sister Brenda Marguglio.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Harvest Church at 801 Mann Street, Newport, NC.
