Carl "Eddie" Barrier, Jr.

Carl “Eddie” Barrier, Jr., 62, of Havelock, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his family.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Munden Funeral Home & Cremations in Havelock, officiated by Reverend John B. Thompson, Jr. Interment, with military honors, will follow directly after the service at the Forest Oaks Memorial Gardens in Havelock.

Carl served in the US Coast Guard and was a proud Eagle Scout growing up.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda K. “BK” Barrier of the home; daughters, Jessica Barrrier Lee and husband, Kenneth of Hillsboro, NC; Violet M. Hairr and husband, Troy of Norfolk, VA, Iris Suzette Richart and husband, Brad of Sneads Ferry, NC; niece, Kandi Barrier of Virginia Beach, VA; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 nieces & nephews; and 4 special and loving dogs.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Edwin Barrrier, Sr. and mother, Josephine Harrell Barrier; brother, Randy Barrier; and grandson, Gabriel Michael Richart.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Munden Funeral Home & Cremations in Havelock.
