Capt' Lester "Rabbit" Mitchum

Captain Les "Rabbit" Mitchum, 54, of Davis, died Friday February 17 at Somerset Court Newport.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday February 21, at Refuge Fellowship Church with the Rev. Manley Rose, Rev. Merle Hunt, and Rev. Jimmy Mercer officiating.
Mr. Les attended Refuge Fellowship Church and was the capt' of Billy William Kevin. May the wind always be at your back.
He is survived by his mother Mary L. Mason of Sea Level: two sons Darren Mitchum and Dyllon Mitchum both of Davis: sister Wanda M. Willis of Davis: two brothers William Lanier Mitchum of Davis and Milton "Skunk" Owen Mitchum of Mill Creek.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the United Hospice of New Bern 1310 Helen Ave. New Bern, NC 28560-3418.
