Burvel Garner, Jr.

Burvel A. Garner, Jr., 71, of Broad Creek, passed away, Saturday, August 2, 2014 at his home.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Broad Creek Community Cemetery with Rev. Bob Lowery officiating.

Mr. Burvel served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Coast Guard.

He is survived by a daughter, Noelle Garner of Havelock; two sons, Jonathan Garner of Elizabethtown, KY and Kevin Allen Randall of Bayboro; sister, Judy Garner of Broad Creek; brother, Harley Garner of Broad Creek; also seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burvel and Ivory Garner, son, Primrose Garner, and a brother, Samuel Garner.

The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.

The family welcomes flowers, or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
