Bruce Grisham

Bruce Martin Grisham stepped into eternity on March 8, 2017 at his home, after a lengthy illness, with his family by his side.

Bruce was born in New York City on March 11, 1932 to Bruce L Grisham and Lillian Springle Grisham. He served in the U.S. Navy, honorably during the Korean War, earning the Korean Service, United Nations and Navy Occupation Ribbons.

After serving in the Navy, Bruce spent 35 years with the Naval Air Rework Facility at the Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point, Retiring as a supervisor in production control. Worked at Sportsman Pier after retiring from Cherry Point where he witnessed to God’s magnificent sunrises and meeting the people and gaining new friendships

A memorial service for Bruce will be held at a later date.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Grisham; daughter, Debbie Gray and husband Harold; granddaughter, Amie Grennan; sisters, Gloria Testa and Patricia Grisham of East Haven CT., and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert E. Grisham. His devoted four legged pal Buddy.

The family would like to thank Dr. C.V. as well as Dr. Mary Katherine Lawrence for their wonderful care and kindness shown to him for many years, Harbor View Nursing, and Community Home Care and Hospice for the last few months.
