Brittney Leigh Grohmann

Brittney Leigh Grohmann, 24, of Havelock, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Universal Health Care in Greenville.

Brittney was born on August 31, 1999, in Olney, Maryland, to her late father, Michael Grohmann and her mother, Traci Grohmann. She was a young lady whose light shone brightly in our lives. Brittney’s journey on this earth may have been brief, but the impact she made was immeasurable. She had many hobbies that she loved to spend her time with, such as puzzles, reading, her love for all things Disney, and coloring.

Brittney’s infectious laughter and warm smile could light up the darkest days. She had an innate ability to make everyone around her feel cherished and valued. Brittney taught us the profound importance of living life with an open heart, embracing joy in small moments, and cherishing the bonds of friendship and family. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, a reminder of the beauty and wonder that she brought to our lives.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her mother, Traci LeRay Grohmann of Havelock; sisters, Ashley Patterson of New Bern, NC, Megan Grohmann of Beaufort, NC; brother, Trevor Grohmann of the home; and her precious pets, two dogs, Feisty and Cocoa; and her cat, Rex.

Brittney was preceded in death by her father, Michael Grohmann.
