Brian Rolison, 48, of Atlantic, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at home.
A visitation with the family will be held from 3:30-4:00 pm Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
Brian was born at the Cherry Point base hospital and grew up in Eastern North Carolina. He honorably served in the U.S. Army lived almost all of his adult life in Carteret County. He owned and operated Rolison Maintenance and Repair. Brian loved the outdoors, was a member of the NRA and enjoyed shooting, four wheeling, fishing and boating. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.
Brian is survived by his sons, Brian Jackson Chandler and wife Jackie of Evans, GA and Aaron Keith Heynig of MI; granddaughter, Emma Grace; brothers, Jimmy Todd and wife Jackie of Atlantic, NC and Jamie Rolison and husband Rob Cutchins of Virginia; sisters, Joyce Marie Smith and husband Bill of Morehead City, Ginny MaChipness and husband Jimmy of Beaufort, and Charlotte Curtis and husband Kerry of Raleigh; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Herman and Elise Marie (Buckholtz) Rolison; and sister, Normarie Ann Lewis.
