Brian D. Anderson

Brian D. Anderson, 60, of Havelock, graduated to Heaven on Sunday, January 7, 2018. He struggled with his illness for the past several years and received much heartfelt assistance from his work and home community. The family is very appreciative of all the assistance he received.

His memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the New Beginnings Church at 30 Park Lane, Havelock, NC.

He was born in Montana to Hubert and Jewel Anderson and raised by Bill and Jewel Olson. He went to high school in Flathead County and joined the Air Force in 1977 and served his country for 4 years. He went to college for electronics and engineering and worked in that field. He worked at AECOM, Cherry Point NC since 1994 under a tactical training ranges contract.  He worked as a systems engineer and later as a systems technician, he was proud of his work accomplishments.  He loved electronics and trying to determine how things worked or how he could fix it to work better. He always looked for a good sale- he was a collector of sorts!

He is survived by his children, Douglas (Ruth) and daughter Lexandra and Jeremy (June) Anderson and daughters Logan and Chloe who live in Everett WA; Daniel Chang, in Havelock and Jean Chang currently serving in the Air Force and Daisy Anderson in Havelock. He has 3 living brothers and 5 living sisters, Robert (Sherry) Anderson, Ridgecrest CA, Judy (Ed) Rogers, Great Falls, MT, David ( Carol) Anderson, El Cajon CA, Karen (Tag) Gross, Seattle, WA, Gail (Mike) Leppert, Oldsmar FL, Barbara (Kevin) McCandless, AZ, Darlene Olson, Seattle WA and Daniel (Denise) Olson, Seattle, WA and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, Hubert Anderson, Jewel Olson and Bill Olson.
