Bobby Ray White Jr.

Bobby Ray White Jr., known to all as simply Bobby, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at his home in Newport, North Carolina, of natural causes.

Bobby was born at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois on October 26, 1964. He was a proud, hardworking man who loved the outdoors and was known by some as 'The Mountain Man'. He had a wandering spirit, and one never knew where he would land but he could make anywhere home.

Bobby was a natural born comedian, capable of making any situation funny and one couldn't help but laugh when he was around. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Catherine Dunn (Jimmy); sister, Tracey White Early; brother, Kevin White (Laura); daughter, Amber Flowers (Adam); son, Bobby White III (Katie); stepdaughters, Shelbi Haskett (Dallas), and Kelsey Thompson (Cameron); grandchildren, Laela, Kennedy, Kamden, Anthony, Cathrine, Brayden, Skyla, Jackson, Grace and Faith; and several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray White Sr., and his wife of 23 years, Susan White.
