Bobby Franklin Pendergrass, 83, of Atlantic Beach, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Pollard officiating.
Bobby was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved to fish, spend time with friends at Oceanana Pier, and was an avid Nascar fan.
He is survived by his loving companion Dolly Eubanks of Morehead City; two daughters Deborah Neimkin and husband Ron of Asheville, and Linda Lynch and husband Larry of Burlington; one sister Betty Wright Morris of Durham; three grandsons Bobby Davis, Matthew Neimkin, and Michael Neimkin of Asheville; one granddaughter Lauren Davis and husband Tyler of Burlington; and one great granddaughter Reese Davis.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Buncombe County Special Olympics 2200 Gateway Centre Blvd. Ste. 201 Morrisville, NC 27560 in memory of Bobby Pendergrass.
