Bobby Leroy Hancock, 69, of Harkers Island, was called home to rest on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at home surrounded by family, loved ones, and friends.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at the Harkers Island Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. Interment will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Johnson Hancock; daughter, Vanessa, son, Bobby Vaughn; grandchildren, Crystal, Casey, Kendra, Jeff, Hailey, and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Mariah; and sister, Paulette.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at the Church.
