Bobbie “Bob” L. Griffin Sr.,

Bobbie "Bob" L. Griffin Sr., 87, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away Monday, May 7, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center.

Bob was born on March 3, 1937, in Wilson, North Carolina, to the late Zackie and Lillian Griffin. He was a dedicated US Air Force veteran and retired from the US Navy Civil Service. Bob was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Morehead City for many years, he lived his life with unwavering faith.

Bob was a dedicated family man, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He spent over 60 years with his sweetheart Diana. In his leisure time, he found much-needed peace on the golf course perfecting his game. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Diana Griffin of the home; sons, Bob L. Griffin Jr. (Mary Therese) of Oxford, Georgia, and Steven L. Griffin of Hampton, Virginia; grandchildren, Joselyn Griffin and Shelby Griffin; and many loving cousins.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Lloyd, Leonard, Elsie, Cleo, and Bernise.

Services for Bob will be private.
