Blanche Pauline Willis, 88, of Beaufort, NC died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at her home.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Lindblade officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
Pauline was employed as a nurse for many years. She was a member of Ann Street United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary and a member of the Eastern Star for over 60 years. She was always a great lover of cats.
She is survived by her husband, Donald T. Willis of Beaufort; five children, Paula Williams, Harriett Weeks, and Alton Hill, all of Beaufort, Donna Bennett of Morehehad City, and Donnie Willis of Beaufort; seven grandchildren, Jo Anne Wilkerson and Jackie Lancaster of Morehead City, Joni Dennis of Beaufort, Austin Hill of Santa Monica, CA, Ashleigh Bove of Washington, DC, and Jordan and Hayden Willis of Beaufort; five great-grandchildren; and several cousins on the Outer Banks.
She was preceded in death by her three siblings, Eileen Hill, Glenn B. Willis, Jr., and Lewis Pierson Willis.
The family will recieve friends 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
