Blanche Hazzard Futo

Blanche Hazzard Futo, 88, of Smyrna, NC died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.

Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Mumford officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Futo is survived by two sons, Gary Broadway and wife, Linda of Munroe Falls, OH and David Futo and wife, Trina of Beaufort, NC; five grandchildren, Vickie Broadway, Alan Broadway, Doug Broadway, Charlene Reeves, and Shelby Futo; two great-grandchildren, Dokato Broadway and Hunter Broadway; and siblings, Albert Hazzard of High Point, NC, Arthur Hazzard, also of High Point, NC, Doris Davies of PA, Marion Hazzard of High Point, NC, Franklin Hazzard of Thomasville, NC, and Faye Key, also of Thomasville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Futo, son, Albert Broadway; parents, Arthue and Laura Hazzard; and sister, Virginia Ellington.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
