Blake Hackworth, 45, of Harkers Island, died Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Carteret General Hospital.

He is survived by a son, Christian Blake Hackworth of Harkers Island; parents, Ray and Peggy Hackworth of Harkers Island and paternal grandmother, Mable Hackworth of Prestonburg, KY.
