Billy "Bill" Nathale Crittenton

Billy “Bill” Nathale Crittenton, 84, of Newport, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at Crystal Coast Hospice House.

Bill was an avid golfer, loved to fish and was a diehard UNC Tarheel fan. He retired as a food service manager at UNC Hospital.

Billy is survived by his daughters, Karen Crittenton and partner Curt Robbins of St. Simons, GA and Bridgette C. Colton and husband Mitchell of Pittsboro; son, Keith Crittenton and wife Elaine of Newport; four grandchildren, Bobby Austin and wife Kellye, Joshua Carroll, Bree Singleton and husband Michael and Matthew Crittenton; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Nathale Austin, Cade Leigh Austin, and Riley Keith Carroll.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Freeman Crittenton.
