Betty Louise (Wells) Kellum

Betty Louise Wells Kellum, 73, of Newport, died Wednesday July 2, 2014 at her home.
A funeral will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held 11:00 Friday at Pinewood Memorial Park in Greenville.
Betty was born in Washington, NC, and graduated from Chocowinity High School. She was employed as an Official Court Reporter with the state of North Carolina and retired from the Administrative Office of the Courts. She also felt that God placed her inside Wal Mart at the Woodforest National Bank as a teller to help people. Her favorite saying was "True love suffers long".
She is survived by a son Troy Leon Kellum of Morehead City, NC; a sister Jeanette Gaskins Ellis of Vanceboro, NC; and two brothers Joseph Earl Wells, and Charles Ray Wells both of Chocowinity, NC.
Visitation will follow the services.
