Betty Taylor Jones, 86, of Morehead City, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at her home.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Pollard officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Betty is survived by two daughters Susan Guthrie of Newport, and Julia Moore of Swansboro; son Jerry Jones of Morehead City; a sister Virginia Godley of Chocowinty; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Julius N. Jones, her parents Joe and Lizzie Taylor, two sons Julius "Nickie" Jones and Albert Lee Jones, a brother Emmanuel Taylor, and a sister Elizabeth Davenport.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, and other times at the home of Jerry and Terri Jones 1211 Lantern Way, Morehead City.
