Betty Gibble

Betty R. (Murphy) Gibble, 74, of Beaufort, NC, received her glorified body, Friday, April 7, 2017, and is now walking the streets of gold with our Lord.

She was a charter member of Community Baptist Church. She loved her church and family.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 10, 2017, at Community Baptist Church, Newport, NC, with Pastor Billy Knox officiating.  Assisting will be Pastor Ken Bartholomew and Pastor Rick Aldridge.  Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park, Morehead City, NC.

She is survived by her daughters; Pauline Shipman and husband Sam, Havelock, Patricia Salter and Alonza Reels, Havelock; sons, Michael Gibble and Melissa Stevenson, Trenton, Rex Gibble and wife Natalie, Beaufort, son-in-law Walt O’Neal and wife Millie, Newport; grandchildren, Renee McNey, James Gray, Michelle Gray, Raymond Gray, Brittney Gibble, Lexie Clevenger, Dequonia Gibble, Grace Stevenson; great grandchildren, Rebekah Adams, Katie Gray, Joshua Gray, Elijah Gray, Harper Gray, Molly Gray, Aaliyah Hester, Athena Hester, Aubree Hester

She was preceded in death by her parents; Wade and Temple (Jones) Murphy; sister, Margaret Wright; daughter, Irene M. O’Neal former wife of Walton E. O’Neal.

The family will receive friends at Community Baptist Church, Monday, April 10, 2017, at 10:00 a.m.
