Bernice Lupton

Bernice Lupton, 70, of Havelock, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Cherry Point Bay Nursing Home.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Nelson Bay Cemetery in Sea Level with Rev. Mike Nelson officiating.

She is survivied by her daughters, Gracie Robison of Spring Lake, NC and Shiane Lupton-Godley of Havelock, NC; sons, Clayton Gillikin of Otway, NC and John C. Lupton, III of Miami, FL; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Glendora Hadden of New Bern and Virginia Moore from Sea Level; and brothers, Jack Salter of KY, Samuel Salter of AL, and Frank Salter of Sea Level, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Johnny Lupton, and her mother and father, Clayton and Florence Salter.

The family will receive friends 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
