Bernard "Bucky" Parker, 50, of Newport, NC died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at his residence.
Services will be held 4:00 pm Friday at First United Methodist Church in Morehead City with Rev. Joseph Franklin officiating.
Bucky was born and raised in Newport.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Parker; son, Ricky Parker; and the children's mother, Betty Parker, all of Atlantic Beach.
The family will receive friends following the service at the family home.
