Beatrice Marie (Morgan) Woolard
April 22, 1933 — March 11, 2013
Beatrice Marie Woolard, 79, of Morehead City, peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father Monday March 11, 2013, at Harborview Health Center surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 Wednesday at Open Door Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Linebarger and Rev. Mance Cason officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Beatrice was a loving mother and grandmother. She lived her life as a Christian example to her family and all who knew her. She served countless hours ministering at area nursing homes. She was an active member of Newport Church of God. Atlthough she will be greatly missed we take comfort in knowing she is finally with Jesus.
She is survived by two daughters Sheila Croom and husband Danny of Morehead City, and Wanda Temple and husband Eddie of Newport: three sons Norwood Woolard, Jr., and wife Charlotte of Morehead City, Dennis Woolard and wife Jacque of Newport, and Timothy Woolard and fiance Sharon of Newport: a sister Verdia Weakley of Chesapeake, VA: sixteen grandchildren: and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norwood Brown Woolard, brothers S.J. Morgan, and Roosevelt Morgan, sisters Bertha Price, and Edna Canady, mother Lena Voliva, and father Stonewall J. Morgan.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
