Barrett Dean Vogel

Barrett Vogel, 45, of Havelock, died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Vidant Medical Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 Wednesday May 8, 2013 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Taylor Munden officiating.

Barrett was honorably discharged from the USMC after eight years of service. He was later employed with Civil Service at Cherry Point. He was a member of the Havelock Moose Lodge, the motorcycle club "4 Told Horseman", and a fraternal brother of Phi Theta Kappa.

He is survived by a daughter Brooke Vogel of Greenville: mother Pat Vogel of New Douglas, IL, step daughter Inglesh Brooke Giles of Havelock: fiancee Jessica Edwards of Newport: a brother Mike Vogel Sr. of IL: two nephews Aaron Vogel and wife Andrea of Sherman, TX, and Mike Vogel Jr. of IL: and two nieces Kim Vogel Henderson of IL., and Allison Nance of IL.

He was preceded in death by his father Carl Vogel, and a brother Bill Vogel.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home and a reception following the service at Triple B's in the Havelock Plaza.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House ECU 549 Moye Dr. Greenville, NC 27834.
