Barbara Dell (Padgett) Lewis

Barbara Dell Padgett Lewis, 83, of Morehead City, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Crystal Bluffs Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home in Frankfort, Indiana at a later date.

She worked as a childcare provider, assistant pre-school teacher for disabled services, and Carr Cabinet Factory. She was a member of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxillary, Kirklin Volunteer Fire Department Auxillary,the Kirklin Christian Church for over 50 years, also Church of Christ in Swansboro and Morehead City.

She is survived by her husband, Durward Lewis of the home; three children, Sandra Shanks and husband Steve of Carmel, IN, Joyce Maddox and husband Larry of Newport and Wendell Zetterberg, Sr. and wife Norma of Hillisburg, IN; sister, Shirley Thomas of Frankfort, IN; grandchildren, Heath Maddox, Rhonda Perez, Wendell Zetterberg, Jr., Wade Zetterberg, Wynn Zetterberg, Wendy Lecklitner, Jefra Bounds and Carlee Da Wodu; great-grandchildren, Taylor Zetterberg, Dylan Zetterberg, Kadison Zetterberg, Drew Zetterberg, Jack Zetterberg, Isabella Lecklitner, Cadence Lecklitner, Hayden Maddox, Morgan Beth Maddox, Tony Perez, Kinleigh Bounds, Chasidi Da Wodu, Debjahi Da Wodu, Keziah Da Wodu, and Elizabeth Eden Da Wodu.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar Zetterberg, Jr., parents, Ralph and Thelma McRoberts Padgett, and siblings, Bobby Padgett, Dortha Mae Steelsmith and Charlotte Fife.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kirklin Christian Church Pre-School Program, 302 E. Jefferson St, Kirklin, IN 46050.
