Barbara (LaPointe) Baxter

Barbara Baxter, 76, of Havelock, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Carolina East Health System in New Bern.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Father Greg Spencer officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharlene Spencer of the home; two brothers, Leo LaPointe and Ronnie LaPointe both of Potsdam, NY; sister, Norma Atkinson of Massena, NY; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Baxter; parents, Homer and Harriet LaPointe; three brothers, and two sisters.
There will be a family burial to be held in early Spring in New York.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
