Audrey G. Stanley

Audrey G. Stanley, 74, of Newport, NC, formerly of Bristol, VA, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021, at her home.

She was born December 16, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late William and Edna Strickland. She was the manager of sales and in the safety department for King Pharmaceutical, after her retirement she worked part time for National Health Care in the laundry department, which she loved because it allowed her time to visit with the residences. She loved working in her garden, and helping people. She loved her family.

Audrey is survived by her son, Brian Sams and wife Sue of Newport; sister, Leah Fosburg of Bristol, VA; brothers, James Worley and wife Lea of Bristol, VA and Tim Worley and wife Annette of Chilhowie, VA; and three grandchildren, Darrell Haneline; great-grandchildren, Hannah Haneline and Nick Logan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Worley.
