Arthur Johnson, 69, of Newport, NC, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at his residence.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at David B. Garner Cemetery in Newport.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Johnson of the home; daughter, Deanna Johnson Windham and husband, Harold of Newport; son, David Johnson and wife, Melissa of Newport; sisters, Juanita Garner and Ann Simmons, both of Newport; grandchidren, Douglas Windham, Sara Windham, and Peyton Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Johnson; mother, Elsie Smith Johnson Rowe; and brother, Bobbie Johnson.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
