Arthur D. Boyle

Arthur D. Boyle, 80, of Newport, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at home after a lengthy illness.
A private family gathering will be held at a future date. Inurnment will follow at Marks Creek Cemetery in Hamlet, NC.
Arthur was born in Carteret County on November 9, 1936 to the late Charles A. and Beulah Brown Boyle. He graduated from Hugh Morison High School in 1955. Arthur lived in Raleigh for many years and was married to Thelma Barker Boyle for 37 years until her passing in 2010. Arthur is a retired painting contractor and the founder of Mildew Magic.
The family would like to express special thanks to Lisa Pilger for her dedicated care during his illness.
Arthur is survived by two sisters, Mildred Belanger of Daytona Beach and Ruth Crockett of Brooksville, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Barker Boyle; parents, Charles and Beulah Boyle; brother, Charles A. Boyle of California; and sister, Dorothy Hasman of Brooksville, FL.
