Arlene Isabelle England, 93, formerly of Spicer, Minnesota, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Liberty Commons Nursing Facility in Jacksonville, NC
A service will be held at a later date.
Arlene was a farm wife and worked hard to provide for her family. Her great grandchildren were the best thing that happened to her world.
She is survived by her daughter Lynne Staton and husband William D. of Atlantic Beach; four grandchildren, David Staton, Shelly Buchanan, Lisa Yaeger and husband Ben, and Don Houghton and wife Diane; nine great grandchildren; and one sister Margaret Stanton of Stillwater, MN.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Leland Bailey who died in WWII, and her second husband of 38 years Winfred England, her parents Edward and Selma Sluka, one brother, and three sisters.
