April Guthrie Herring

April Guthrie Herring, 46, of Hubert, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.

Her memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church in Newport, officiated by Reverend John Greyson.

April is survived by her husband, Gerald Herring of the home; father, Douglas Guthrie and wife, Loretta of Newport; brothers, Steven Guthrie and wife, Cathy of Morehead City, Joseph Rose of Morehead City, Thomas Rose of Wilmington; niece, Cailyn; and nephew, Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Willis Guthrie; brother, Douglas “Dougie” Guthrie, III; and grandparents, Doug Sr. and Billie Joyce Guthrie.

Family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church in Newport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial cards may be sent to the family at 211 Riggs Rd, Lot 6, Hubert, NC 28539.
