Annie Popjes,71, of Swansboro, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at her home.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, January 7th at Cape Carteret Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Leigh Anne Robertson of Mount Airy; two step-daughters, Lauri Beth DeWaal Malefyt and husband Tom of New Jersey and Catherine Frances Smith and husband Randy of King, NC; two step-sons, Craig Andrew Popjes and wife Rae Ann of New Jersey and Thomas Jenkins and wife Lacy of Swansboro; sister, Debbie Robertson and husband Alan of Mount Airy; nephew, Kriston Robertson and wife Kimberly; eight grandchildren and 3 great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family respectfully ask that donations be made to Cape Carteret Presbyterian Church, 100 Yaupon Dr, Cape Carteret , NC 28584.
