Anna Pohoresky Kent, 101, of Newport, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at her residence.
Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wes Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mrs. Kent was born October 22th, 1909, and was raised and lived most of her life in Boomville, NY.
She is survived by her sister, Violet Nellenback of West Leyden, NY; daughter-in-law Judy Pohoresky of Newport, NC; four grandchildren, Willie Pohoresky, Debbie Pohoresky Tabuchi, and David Pohoresky, all of Newport, NC, and Lorrie Raines of Nashville, TN; three step-grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; eight step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bill Pohoresky.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home.
