Anna Lorraine (Dixon) Ensminger

Anna Lorraine Dixon Ensminger, (Alene) 75, of Harkers Island, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Sea Level Extended Care with her family by her side.
Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Harkers Island Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints with the Bishop Kevin Nelson conducting. Interment will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery.
Born and raised on Harkers Island, she was the wife of Robert (Bob) Ensminger and the daughter of the late Ed and Irene Dixon of Harkers Island.
She is survived by her husband, Bob: son, Bobby Ensminger and wife Judy of Harkers Island, grandchildren, Bobbi Lynn Burroughs and husband Brandon of Harkers Island. Landon Ensminger of Straits, Micki Cox and husband Bo Jack of Cove City, and April Ensminger of New Bern; great-grandchildren, Haley, Tyler, Camdyn, Madolyn, Austin, and Cierra; and a nephew, Butch Ensminger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother James Ed Dixon and sister Joyce Cummins of Baltimore MD.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the Church.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the employees of Sea Level Extended Care and a very heartfelt love and appreciation to Tammy Rose of Otway, who was Alene’s Care Giver and best friend for the past two years.
